Deb Clinton, director of SPARC (School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community) has prepared an exciting evening of entertainment.  Just for this occasion, we're not limiting it to "folk".  There will be assorted show tunes from the golden years of the American and Yiddish theater, along with old favorites from The Great American Songbook.   You'll be sure to sing along and there may even be some dancing in the aisles.  Deb will be joined by assorted musicians from Klezmer Or'Ami'm  (but expect an eclectic mix - not Klezmer, not Folk - all surprises and there may even be a Celtic song or two thrown in).

All proceeds from this event will benefit Congregation Or Am who, for the past five years,  have generously offered the use of their space for our Richmond Folk Music concerts.  The program will finish at 10:00 pm, so if you're a party animal who rings in the New Year at a night club you'll be able to head out to the digs of your choice.  If you're one of the sedate crowd, enjoy the music and cameraderie at Congregation Or Ami and then go home and watch the ball in Times Square in the comfort of your pajamas.  Either way, we hope to see you on December 31st.
