Patrick O'Flaherty, Jim Costa and Mary Dailey are three experienced solo musicians who met at Patrick's pub in Lewisburg, West Virginia (The Irish Pub on Washington Street ) in 2007 during a Sunday evening session/jam. They soon discovered a shared love of the traditional music of Ireland and Appalachia, and shortly thereafter began performing as "Paddy in the Holler".
Patrick O'Flaherty is a multi-instrumentalist and singer from Connemara, Ireland whose music career spans three decades, including tours throughout America with The Poor Clares and Celtic Folk. He sings in his native Gaelic and is a master on mandolin, button accordion, bouzouki and harmonica.
Jim Costa is a West Virginia treasure, known far and wide in Old Time music circles. He's a skilled player of fiddle, clawhammer banjo and guitar, with an extensive

repertoire of traditional tunes and songs, including authentic Uncle Dave Macon material. He's also an avid restorer of vintage instruments, tools and other interesting artifacts.
Mary Dailey is a gifted singer, songwriter and lover of old Appalachian and Celtic folksongs and ballads. She has performed in the mid-Atlantic region for over 20 years in a variety of groups and venues, including at the Kennedy Center's Atrium, but "down home" settings have always been her favorite.
