Traditional folk music is best enjoyed in a casual, homelike setting.  We'd like for our audience to feel that they are sharing songs with the performer in a cozy living room, so make yourself at home!   Here are a few guidelines:

Our concerts begin at 8:00 pm, unless otherwise specified.  Doors will open at 7:15.  Light refreshments, including coffee, tea and cookies will be available for a small donation.

Please allow yourself enough time to settle before the performance begins, so that we can start on time. Also, return to your seat promptly after intermission. There will be time to chat with the performer and purchase CD's after the show.

No smoking or alcoholic beverages.

Please refrain from talking and give the performer your undivided attention during the performance. Do feel free to sing along to audience participation songs, clap, tap your feet, and enjoy yourself!

Turn off cell phones, pagers, etc.

Concerts are open seating - no reservations.

For the benefit of other audience members, please leave young children at home.

Tickets for the 2008 - 2009 Season are $12.00 if reserved or purchased in advance, $15.00 at the door.  Tickets may be purchased on the website with Paypal or a credit card at the advance rate, or you may call or e-mail us to reserve your ticket at the advance rate until 9pm on the Friday before the concert. We accept personal checks (payable to 'Richmond Folk Music') at the door, or cash, but note that we can't take credit cards at the door. Phone reservation tickets will be held until 7:30pm on the day of the concert. Please clearly state your name, phone number, and number of tickets when making phone reservations.

Tickets are not available through Congregation Or Ami - only through Richmond Folk Music.

Due to the size of the venue and limited seats, all ticket sales are final.
