Andrew McKay and Carole Etherton

Maritime, Music Hall and More!

$10.00 in advance/$12.00 at the door

This will be a most enjoyable evening in the company of Andrew McKay and Carole Etherton, a lovely couple who reside in Llangenith, Wales - near the seaport town of Swansea.  The wild and beautiful Welsh coast is the inspiration for many of their songs, and when they launch into a sea shantey you will feel the salt spray and the cold, brisk wind on your face!   There are also songs that tell tales of smugglers and outlaws, miners and fishermen - drawn from the rich fabric of legends and stories told around many a fireside on a long winter's night.

But Carole and Andrew have a silly side as well!  They also have a repertoire of English Music Hall songs (roughly akin to our own Vaudeville) - a tad naughty sometimes but always hilarious, and there will be plenty of humor and good cheer!

Have a browse on their website at http://www.cranedrivinmusic.com/ .  Don't forget to check out their photo section for some beautiful scenic views of Wales - .  and also the "Instruments" section to read about Andrew's antique concertinas!
